Meet the Serbia IPIP Team
Serbia has brought together a distinguished and multidisciplinary team of professionals representing the full spectrum of the national innovation ecosystem. The team is led by Jadranka Dervisevic Kitaric, Executive Director of the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, who serves as the IPIP Team Leader for Serbia.
This dynamic group of accomplished and senior-level experts includes leading academics, innovation-focused entrepreneurs, corporate executives, venture investors, and civic leaders from Serbia’s most forward-thinking institutions. Their diverse perspectives, combined with deep expertise in policy, technology, and economic development, form a powerful platform for innovation planning.
United by a shared ambition to strengthen Serbia’s innovation potential, the team will work over the next six months to co-create a Regional Innovation Action Plan tailored to the country’s context and global aspirations. With close support from IPIP faculty and the Cambridge ecosystem, the Serbia team aims to develop bold yet practical solutions that drive inclusive growth and long-term resilience.
Meet the Silesia IPIP Team
The Silesia region has assembled a dynamic and high-calibre team representing all key sectors of its innovation ecosystem. The team operates under the leadership of Dr Rafał Żelazny, President of the Katowice Special Economic Zone (KSSE), which serves as the lead institution for this initiative.
This group of highly accomplished, senior-level professionals includes public sector leaders, academic experts, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, investors, and NGO representatives. They bring deep sectoral insight and shared commitment to delivering public value and systemic change.
United by a common goal, they are tasked with designing a practical, high-impact Regional Innovation Action Plan for Silesia. Together, they will co-create a transformative roadmap to unlock the region’s innovation potential and strengthen its long-term economic resilience.
